This is such a fabulous book for those newly confident readers.
Mia is 6 years old and absolutely enjoyed reading the adventures Mabel Chase got up to. From coming last in sports day to entering her toy dog into a dog show (and winning!) the stories and hilarious and totally relatable to this younger demographic.
The book is easy to read for this age group as the font is of a larger size and spacing, helping them stay on track on what they are reading and where they are up to.
I asked Mia what she would give this book out of 10 and she said 100!
It was a great book to read together. It was funny. Relatable. Easy to read and enjoyable.
