The fourth instalment in the Ollie and Bea books and my 7 year old is just as excited to find out what adventure these two friends go on.
My daughter loves this series of books due to the comic-like style in the book that is presented.
In this next instalment of adventures, Ollie makes a BAT-tastic new friend, but Bea’s not very HOPPY about it. Can Ollie show Bea that there’s OWLways room for one more friend?
This book has a beautiful message about friendship, kindness and how to navigate new friendships. I think it’s such a powerful topic for this age group who are navigating a social circle for the first time on their own in the playground and often get upset if a “new” friend comes along and encroaches on their current friendships.
The perfect read for 4-7 year olds, they will not only love the story but the engaging graphics in the book.
