Let Me Sleep, Sheep! by Meg McKinley by Meg McKinley

This is the story of a little boy called Amos who just can’t sleep. So what is there to do but count sheep.  It looks like the classic story we all know… but is it really? Amos starts counting sheep when suddenly there’s this loud thud and … he’s not alone in the room anymore.

The author turns the classic story into this fun, but exhausting game between Amos and the sheep. His room is transformed. Amos is so tired from trying to please the sheep, trying to do everything they ask him, but its too hard, there’s always something more…until he is finally asleep.

Let Me Sleep, Sheep! is an excellent book for little ones…funny, creative…simply fantastic. Who hasn’t counted sheep as a kid or as an adult to try and fall asleep?

Also the illustrations are amazing, the colours, the toys, the room…perfect.

A book my 6 year old loves and one I read over and over to her because I loved it too.
