I introduced this journal to my 6 year old who has been so excited to fill it out every night. So far she has drawn a portrait of herself, chosen the top 3 things that she says she is good at, aligned positive traits with the multiple hats she wears as a daughter, sister, neighbour and friend.
The pages are colourful and filled with the wonderful illustrations that this series has been known for. The quotes throughout the books from inspirational historical figures, makes the book special to keep and hold on to as a memento of my daughter’s childhood and to capture who she was at 6 years old.
It’s a wonderful book that I would recommend for any little girl or boy to build confidence, explore themselves and absorb the positivity that radiates from this book.
