Sydney Santa Spectacular is an incredible Christmas event for the whole family! It is amazing how the organisers have converted Rosehill Gardens into a beautiful Christmas Wonderland. Here are our top 5 reasons why we love this event and why it will be a family tradition for us to attend going forward.
1. Rides for all ages
I worry that Mia (2 years old) is too young to enjoy the rides that are for free with the entry tickets, but to my surprise, I encounter a bunch of rides for all ages. There are two train rides, 4 x jumping castles, 2 x moving rides, reindeers that can be mounted and a double decker carousel! For the older kids, there is a Santa House that they can explore, the jumping castles, the train rides and the double decker carousel is amazing!
2. Roaming Christmas characters
As you roam around the grounds, your kids will see their favourite characters come to life! We got to meet Anna, Elsa and Olaf and there are plenty of elves spreading Christmas cheer to the kids. You can take photos with them for free while your kids experience meeting their beloved movie characters.
3. Activities galore
Besides the rides, there is a ton of activities for the kids to enjoy:
- Craft workshop
- Cookie decorating
- Christmas show
- Face painting
- Reading time
- Ice skating
- Toboggan
4. Winter Wonderland
One of the indoor areas is turned into a true Winter Wonderland and as you enter the Winter Wonderland tunnel, you are transformed into a completely different world. There is SNOW that actually falls (to the delight of the kids!), a beautiful Christmas show including music and dancing, the Santa Express Train and Santa is housed in Winter Wonderland.
5. Convenient
You know when you travel with kids, convenience is important, which is why the location of the Sydney Santa Spectacular is great! There is free parking with entry tickets onsite or there is a train station (Rosehill Station) right outside the venue. Easy!
Sydney Santa Spectacular is on now until 27th December 2016.
